Hello. My name is Patty Csizmadia.

I am so excited to be working at Frederick Douglass Elementary!

This is my tenth year working as an EL teacher with Loudoun County Public Schools.

I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and have always loved watching MET games.  I received my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Bernard Baruch College in New York City. I went back to school and in 2012 and earned my teaching license in Middle School Math as well as an Endorsement in ELL.

My husband and I live in Leesburg.  We have two children.  Our daughter is studying Geography at George Mason University.  Our son is a junior at Fusion Academy. When not at school, my family and I like to travel and camp.  We are active in 4H.  In addition to rabbits and chickens, my son leases a dairy cow each year.

I look forward to meeting my new students this year.
