    Margaret Lukacs, History 6

I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1999 with a Bachelors in History.  I went straight to graduate school and earned a Masters in the Art of Teaching (MAT) Social Studies, also from the University of Pittsburgh.  As soon as I graduated in 2000, I moved to Loudoun County to teach Civics.  I was at Harper Park my first year and transferred to Eagle Ridge when it opened in 2001.

I am starting my sixteenth year of teaching in Loudoun County.  I taught 8th grade Civics for nine years and will be entering my seventh year teaching 6th grade History.

I have  a seven year old son who started 2nd grade at Hillside this year.  He is actively involved in baseball and tae kwon do which keeps us busy.
