Education / Background:

Mrs. Britton welcomes her 18th year as a Reading Specialist for Loudoun County Public Schools with excitement and enthusiasm. Prior to teaching for LCPS, Mrs. Britton taught 5th grade and 1st grade for Berkeley County Public Schools in West Virginia.  She received her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Shepherd University. Mrs. Britton also completed her Masters in Reading from West Virginia University.  Mrs. Britton has been the reading specialist at Lucketts for eight years. 

Hobbies/Interests/Family Life

When Mrs. Britton is not teaching, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband Shane, and her two daughters Jillian and Sydney. She also enjoys reading, bicycling, running and swimming in her free time.
