This is my fourth year teaching in Loudoun County and at Simpson Middle School.  I love this school and am excited to return for my fourth year.  I have had the role of a reading specialist and special education teacher while here at Simpson.

I have spent the past 20 years in education in various roles.  I was a teacher to the hearing impaired for 7 years.  After that I was a middle school cross category teacher for 8  years.  The 5 years prior to coming to Simpson were spent as an Intervention Resource Teacher working with teachers to help students who are in need to academic or behavior interventions.

My Bachelor's Degree is from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Hearing Impaired Education.  I have a Master's Degree in Reading from Shenandoah University.  I also hold a certificate in Learning Disabilities as well as being highly qualified in all four content areas.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking and vacationing with my family.  My weekends are filled with travel soccer games for my son and daughter.
