Aryn Garfield is excited to teach 6th grade art for the seventh year at Belmont Ridge!
She graduated summa cum laude from James Madison University with a B.A. in Studio Art, and a concentration in Art Education. She was student president of the National Art Education Association at JMU, and part of the fencing team.
Currently, Ms. Garfield is event coordinator for RiverCon, of which she is a founder.
6th grade art is a mandatory, exploratory course covering many topics and media, including: proportion, art criticism, drawing, painting, sculpting, printmaking, and personal expression.

Ms. Garfield is happy to meet with students during most A days during block 7-8 (Fall 2019), or by appointment after school, if extra help is needed.
