    bulldog   Melanie Stender
      English Teacher 
    Ms. Melanie Stender attended public schools in the northern panhandle of West Virginia, and earned an undergraduate degree in English Literature at Marietta College. Her graduate degree from West Virginia University is in education, especially reading, and she has current reading specialist certification. Before joining the Stone Bridge faculty, she edited copy at Glencoe/McGraw-Hill in Columbus, Ohio, and taught high school English in Ohio as well. During the 2017-2018 school year, she teaches two sections of AP English Language and three sections of English 12, and co-sponsors PEER and GSA.
