    Melanie Stender @SBHS_Stender  at the 2018 National Book Festival
     English Teacher 

    This is Ms. Melanie Stender's 16th year teaching high school English, and her 7th at SBHS. She earned an undergraduate degree in English Literature at Marietta College--Go Pioneers!--and graduate degree in reading from WVU. Before joining the faculty at Stone Bridge, she edited copy at Glencoe/McGraw-Hill and taught high school English in Ohio. During the 2019-2020 school year, she teaches three sections of AP English Language, and two sections of English 12. Ms. Stender also co-sponsors PEER and GSA.
     
    Ms. Stender enjoys cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and OSU Buckeyes; hiking and practicing yoga; exploring new places; and Facetiming her niece and nephew.
