Hello Families!
My name is Elizabeth Bruno and I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year as your child enters kindergarten! I have been a teacher in Loudoun County for the past 10 years. In that time, I've taught first grade for five years and kindergarten for five years. Prior to this, I worked in varying grade levels ranging from 1st to 4th as a TA in Ridgewood, New Jersey for several years. I have been working with children for twenty years in various school and camp settings! I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from SUNY Oneonta. I am a New York native, having grown up in Queens and later in Rockland County. Currently, I live in Brunswick, Maryland with my husband, Jay, and our daughter, Stella. In my free time, you can find me baking and engaging in artsy crafts. I absolutely love my role as a kindergarten teacher at our school and being the first teacher your child has in their elementary education career has a special place in my heart! This 2023-2024 school year is particularly exciting because my daughter will be starting kindergarten, as well! I'm looking forward to meeting all of my new students and families and kicking off what is sure to be a wonderful school year!
