    Andrew Thomas IV, Ed.S.

    Mr. Thomas is honored and blessed to be in his 8th year serving Farmwell Station Middle School. This school year Mr. Thomas has the privilege of serving as the Learning Specialist Department Chair.
    Mr. Thomas is a life-long learner who has earned an Educational Specialist degree in educational leadership, a Masters of Arts degree in teaching and learning, a Bachelors of Science degree in psychology and counseling, and an Associates of Science degree in graphic design and digital art. Currently, Mr. Thomas is completing his dissertation in partial fulfillment of his Doctor of Education degree in educational leadership and psychology - with the aim of graduating in December of 2019. Mr. Thomas is endorsed by the Commonwealth of Viriginia in the following areas: PreK-12 Administration, Special Education, Mathematics, & History/Social Science. Prior to entering the field of education, Mr. Thomas served in the military as a combat medic, and worked in the fields of healthcare and commercial farming after his honorable discharge from the Army.    
    Mr. Thomas is an avid ultra-marathon runner and outdoor enthusiast; he runs to raise awareness and funding for the worldwide water crisis that is perpetually plaguing a significant portion of the human population. When Mr. Thomas is not serving the school or running ultra-marathons, you can find him spending copious amounts of time with his wife and two daughters at their residence in Winchester, VA.
