Hi! My name is Laura Lissak, and I am so excited to be at Moorefield Station Elementary School as a Gifted Resource teacher. We have so much to discover and explore this year!

I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal & Veterinary Science from West Virginia University, a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Marymount University and a second Master's in Designing Digital Learning from George Mason. I am currently enrolled in courses at the University of Virginia which will be applied toward my Gifted Education endorsement.  I have fifteen years of elementary teaching experience in Loudoun and Fairfax County.

I am looking forward to working with parents, students, and the MSES faculty and staff to foster a respectful community of learners where excellence is pursued every day.
