Welcome! My name is Jannine Vaughn  and the 2018 - 2019 school year will be my eighteenth year teaching with Loudoun County Public Schools. I hold a bachelor of fine arts and a master’s degree in elementary education both from Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally, I am a graduate of the Loudoun iWonder consortium with the Smithsonian Institution where I learned how to integrate the inquiry method into my instruction.  Prior to teaching here in Loudoun, I taught in both Fairfax and Prince William Counties. I have experience teaching preschool, first, third, and fourth grades.

     Never Stop Learning

One of my greatest joys in life is learning and I intend to bring that joy into the classroom everyday. Using differentiated instruction, hands-on learning, and technology enhanced lessons; I aim to make fourth grade a fabulous experience for all my students.

I have a passion for fitness, reading, art, and cooking. I love visiting museums and historical sites, going to the movies, and spending time with my family.

I feel privileged to work with a great team of educators and your child.  Let’s dive in and start learning! Go Sharks!
