My name is Mrs. Tiffany Ater and this is my 9th year teaching at Moorefield Station. I feel very blessed to say that I was part of the team that opened this "Fin-tastic" school. I graduated from Shepherd University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I was born and raised in Loudoun County and am honored to be a teacher for this wonderful county. Other than being a mom, there is no greater job for me than being a teacher. I love being around children, and have a strong passion for finding new ways to make learning fun and exciting.
My husband’s name is Derek and we have have three amazing little boys. Easton will be turning 8 in October and will be a 2nd grader at Moorefield this year as well. Aaron will celebrate his 5th birthday in November, and Colton will turn 2 in October. We live on a little farm in Lovettsville with a small apiary. I love to be with my family and spend most of my time playing outside with my boys. When I am not teaching, you can find me collecting honey from our bees & eggs from our birds, feeding our pig Hamlet & bearded dragon Reta, and playing with our 3 dogs, Daisy, Bo, and Sadie. I am excited for another wonderful year and am looking forward to this journey with you and your children!
Cheers to the 2021-2022 school year <3
