Ms. Waldbaum holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Old Dominion University. In addition, she holds a second master’s degree in educational leadership from George Mason University.
Ms. Waldbaum believes that developing Discovery students into confident, inquisitive and actively engaged learners requires a team approach. The entire community with whom Discovery students will encounter…. whether in the classroom, office, cafeteria, or hallway, contribute to their daily learning experiences. A community that works together as a team creates a culture of shared successes and a desire to learn from challenges. Together, the Discovery family will try new things, become visionaries in teaching, and foster that same excitement for novel thinking in Discovery students.
