    JoAnne Ozark

Welcome to Speech and Language Services at Discovery Elementary!!

Hi! My name is JoAnne Ozark, and this is my second year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Discovery Elementary, and my fifth with Loudoun County. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped at the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Fredonia. I continued and earned my Master of Science degree from SUNY Fredonia. I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia to provide speech and language therapy in the public school system.

I have worked in Virginia, New York, and Florida as a fully licensed SLP. I have worked in elementary, middle, and high schools, preschools, daycares, hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. I previously worked at the Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center with children and adults in both clinical and school settings. Before then I spent three years working as an SLP at Rosa Lee Carter Elementary School. While Central New York is where I grew up, Northern Virginia has certainly become my home.

I look forward to a great school year with all of our students! If you need to get in touch with me, please call the school at 571-252-2370 or click JoAnne.Ozark@lcps.org to email me.

Welcome to Speech and Language Services at Discovery Elementary!

Hi! My name is Stacey Privman and this is my tenth year as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Loudoun County Public Schools. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Science at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. I received my Master of Arts degree in Speech Pathology from Montclair State University, Upper Montclair, New Jersey. I have my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA) and I am licensed by the Commonwealth of Viriginia to provide speech and language therapy in the public school system.

I worked for eight years at the Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center, a day school for children with Autism, at Rutgers University. In 2002, my husband was transferred and my family moved to Carmel, Indiana. I worked part-time providing early intervention services to children, ages birth to three, and also at Adams Elementary School in Sheridan, Indiana. I loved living in Indiana!! However, in 2006, my husband was transferred again, to northern Virginia. After getting my two children settled in school, I applied to work for Loudoun County Public Schools. I worked at Cedar Lane Elementary for six years before coming to Discovery Elementary.

I am looking forward to a great school year with all of our students! If you need to reach me, please call the school at 571-252-2370 or click here to email me.
