• Instructions for Heritage Scholarship Applications

    1. To access applications please click on the name of the scholarship or go to website if applicable.

    2.  Please read the complete application for eligibility and requirements.

    3.  If the application does not tell you where to submit your application, turn it in to the Career Center.

    4.  If you need a trancscript, please complete a the Transcript Release Form and submit it to the Career Center.  Please indicate if you need your transcripts to be official or unoffical.



  • AHT Insurance Student Scholarship


    This $5,500 award will be $4,000 for the first year of college and $500 for each year for the next 3 years.  The AHT scholarship is designed to help defray initial college expenses.

    Applicants for this scholarship should know that emphasis is placed on the financial need as determined by the AHT Scholarship Selection Committee.  Candidates must have demonstrated outside achievement, integrity, leadership in high school activities – including, but not limited to, scholastic endeavors, sports, drama, and forensics.

    Demonstrated involvement in community service activities

    CLLL’s annual scholarship was developed in 2012 with the intent of recognizing one individual from each of the high schools within our boundaries, (Heritage, Loudoun County High School, Riverside and Tuscarora High School), who have demonstrated a commitment to baseball, our community and continuing his or her education.

                 Admission to a two or four-year accredited university or college


    Essay:  In 350 words or less “What novel or character has inspired you?”

  • Heritage Athletic Booster Club Scholarship - Deadline May 1, 2018

    The Scholarship Committee will consider all applications, with an emphasis on your role as a student-athlete. The following requirements must also be met to be considered for a scholarship:
    1. The athlete’s parent/guardian must be a member of the Athletic Booster Club by March 5, 2018. For the Class of 2020 and onward, the athlete’s parent/guardian must have been an Athletic Booster Club member for 2 years.
    2. The student must have a GPA of at least 2.5.
    3. The student plans to attend a college, university, or trade school following graduation.
    4. Two recommendation letters -- from any of the student’s Heritage coaches during their Heritage athletic career (no club/travel coaches), and from an HHS teacher who was not their coach.
    5. Two written essays must be completed, answering both of the following prompts (500 words each): a. How will your experiences and achievements as a student-athlete during your years at Heritage High School be applied towards your future endeavors? b. Of those experiences and achievements, of what are you most proud, and why?

  • Heritage Marketing Scholarship-Deadline April 4, 2018

    Must have been a two-year member of DECA

  • Heritage Music Boosters 2018 Scholarship Information


    Heritage Music Boosters will grant at least one scholarship of a minimum of $250 (quantity and/or dollar amount of awards can be higher depending on budget constraints and applicant pool).

    Eligibility Requirements:

    • Candidate must currently participate in the music department.

    • Candidate’s parent(s) must be members of the Music Booster Association for two or more consecutive years as of Oct. 31 in the current school year.

    • Student must be a graduating senior attending an accredited school next year. Application Packet:

    • Transcript (must have a 3.5GPA in music classes, 2.5 overall with no more than one F)

    • Music Resume of all music-related activities NOT required for enrolled class(es)

    • Short essay (500 words or less) describing how participation in the music department impacted your high school experience


    • Due back: Apr 30, 2018 – students should submit completed application to Mr. Herrmann, Band/Orchestra Director

  • Interact Club of Heritage High School Scholarship - Deadline April 4th


    Graduating senior from Heritage High School
    Current member of Interact Club in good standing
    Must have at least 25 service hours (20 inside hrs, 5 outside hrs) logged
    by the deadline (All hours must be logged in club database)
    GPA of at least 3.0
    Completion of the club scholarship form (available in the Guidance Office) with required additional information attached
    Two short answer questions, no more than 200 words each

  • Loudoun Aces Baseball Scholarship – 4 @ $250 (one for each high school) Deadline - April 30, 2018


    Criteria:                     Applicant must have been a player on an Aces team for at least one full season

                                    Applicant must be in the graduating class of 2018

                                    Applicant plans to enroll in an accredited community college, trade school, college or university as a full-time or part-time student

                                    The scholarship is payable to the student directly upon proof of enrollment

    Applicant must submit an essay detailing the impact that their experience with the Aces has had on their lives to date and how they think it will help them in the future  Essay must include the years of participation with the Aces

  • Ryan Bartel Foundation Acceptance of Others Award-Deadline April 30th, 2018



    Graduating Senior from any High School with a We’re All Human Committee who will be continuing his/her education in a career/technical school.
    In memory of Ryan Bartel, Woodgrove HS Class of 2015, this award recognizes a student who consistently:

    • Demonstrates through their words and actions, acceptance and respect of others • Seeks out, recognizes and embraces the differences and uniqueness of every individual • Does not pass judgment of others at face value • Offers unconditional support and comfort to those who need it, especially those who seem alone or generally feel challenged with life • Stands up for what is right • Is not afraid to intervene and say ‘Enough’ to any form of bullying.

  • The Heritage PTSO Scholarship - Deadline April 4, 2018

    Heritage High School PTSO will award scholarships to a current Heritage High School senior who has been accepted into a two or four-year college or university and whose family is a current member of the HHS PTSO. The PTSO wishes to award this scholarship to a student who participates regularly in school related or community volunteer service activities.
