My name is Shameem Noto, and I am very excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Hutchison Farm Elementary! I have been teaching for 16 years. I started my career in Colorado teaching 1st and 2nd grade, then moved to Tualatin, Oregon, with my husband Mike, where I had my son Alex in 2004. I took some time off to be a mom and in 2006 our daughter Mayah joined our family. When Mayah was 2, I went back to work as a preschool teacher at Chantilly Academy. When both my children became school aged, I joined Loudoun County as a technology assistant at Pinebrook Elementary, and then came to teach Early Childhood Special Education and then 2nd grade at Buffalo Trail. I have a Masters in Special Education and a Masters in Administration from George Mason, and a Bachelors in Behavioral Science from Denver!
I love spending time with my family, going to Redskins games, movies, and the beach. I love to do crafts, watch movies, and read! My favorite color is purple and I am a big fan of Sloths! I am so excited to be teaching at Hutchison Farm, I love this school and all the families that I have met!!!
