• Mrs. Ewing has been teaching in Virginia for over 20 years...the last 12 of which have been in Loudoun County.  Although she is currently a Family Life Education Specialist, she spent most of those years teaching Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Biology, Oceanography and Physics.  Mrs. Ewing earned an undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from SUNY Cortland, an education certification from the University of Rochester, and her masters in Curriculum & Instruction from George Mason University.  Prior to becoming a teacher Mrs. Ewing worked as a molecular biologist involved in cancer research at the University of Rochester.
