Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Rachel Sutphin

Hello Wolverines!

My name is Rachel Sutphin and I will be working with students with the last names Su-Z. I am a graduate of Liberty University with a M.Ed. in School Counseling and of George Mason University with a M.S. in Conflict Analysis & Resolution and a B.A. in Integrative Studies with a concentration in Conflict Transformation.

I began my career with the Loudoun County Parks, Recreation, and Community Services, partnering with local organizations to offer programming for at-risk youth for seven years. Before transitioning to a school counselor with Woodgrove, I worked in our Career Center for six years.

In my spare time I enjoy making cold-process soap (and sharing my knowledge with Mr. Spicer’s chemistry classes), spending time with my family, cooking, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.

I look forward to another great school year!
