John Champe Dance Team
The John Champe Dance Team creates and promotes school support and interest in athletics, develops high team standards, and provides quality family entertainment. The team mainly focuses on jazz, pom, and hip-hop. Performances include pep rallies, halftimes at football and basketball games, service events, and local competitions.  The program includes dancers who all have had former dance experience on some level at school or studio squads. Each member prioritizes their education first and contributes discipline, dedication, and responsibility to the team.
In the 2021-2022 season, the team brought home 1st place overall at Cheer and Dance Extreme's Maryland Madness Competition! Congrats to our competition team members!
In this anything, but normal 2020-2021 season, the team virtually competed in a pom routine ranking 9th on a national level! Congrats to our competition members!
In the 2019-2020 season, the team brought home a Superior Trophy from UDA Dance Camp at JMU! What a great way to start off the season!
