    Welcome to Fifth Grade!
     
    I am so excited to be your child's fifth grade teacher this year at Algonkian Elementary. Go Bobcats!
     
     
    I grew up in Sterling, Virginia and graduated from Potomac Falls High School. After high school, I attended James Madison University where I received a B.A. in English and Marymount University where I received a M.Ed. in Elementary Education. I started my teaching career at Algonkian as a student teacher and this will be my tenth year teaching.
     
    When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family, enjoying our pets (Belqui - Sharpei, Honey - black lab mix, and Elliott - Siamese cat), and reading! Although this year looks different, I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child!
