Mrs. Kipp is very excited to start her 13th year of teaching in Loudoun County Public Schools and her 8th year as a Legacy Lab! Mrs. Kipp is a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University with both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Music Education with an emphasis in choral/general music. In her spare time, Mrs. Kipp likes making music all over the area as a soloist and choir member and enjoys teaching private voice and piano.
Mrs. Kipp was chosen to present two sessions at the Massachusettes Music Educators Association (MMEA) Conference in Boston in 2019. She shared her ideas and teaching philosophies in two hands-on sessions: "The Performance Ready K-5 Classroom" and "Fostering Creativity in the K-5 Classroom" (co-presentation). She hopes to continue presenting at state and national music conferences to share her ideas and to promote best practices in the elementary music classroom.
Mrs. Kipp holds professional membership in The National Association for Music Education (NAfME), The Jazz Education Network (JEN) and Sigma Alpha Iota Music Service Fraternity (SAI).
