My name is Iva Brkic. Year 2023-2024 is my fourteenth year with LCPS and my twelveth year at Broad Run High School.

I am from the Czech Republic. I earned my Masters of Science degree in teaching secondary Mathematics and secondary Biology at Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic. Picture of "my" beautiful Prague to the right :)

Prior to moving to the United States, I traveled around Europe and taught the Czech language at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Skopje, Macedonia.

I love math and I love teaching. I am thrilled to be a part of the Broad Run High School community. Go Spartans!

This year I will be teaching Algebra 2 with Trigonometry and Functions (FADA). Class information (syllabus, homework, quiz/test dates, and resources) will be posted in Schoology.
