Ms. Nichols has taught history for nearly 17 years. This is her sixth year at DHS. Prior to teaching at Dominion High School, she taught at an award winning, red ribbon middle school in Rialto, California. During her tenure there, she served as a team leader, assistant student activities coordinator and member of the School Site Council. She also taught middle school social studies at the American Cooperative School of Tunis in the North African country of Tunisia and at Saudi Aramco Schools in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in history from Waynesburg University in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania and a Masters in Pupil Personnel Services from Azusa Pacific University in San Bernardino, California. She has also attended California State University of San Bernardino, University of California at Riverside, and George Mason University. She currently teaches World History I, World History II, U.S. History and Government.Ms. Nichols will be leaving DHS this October to move to the west African country of Mali, where she will live for the next 2-3 years. She hopes to return to Dominion some day.
