    Education
    Mrs. Llanos earned both a Bachelor's of Arts (B.A.) in English Language & Literature and Master's of Teaching (M.T.) in Secondary English Education from the University of Virginia. Wahoowa!
     
    Experience 
    Mrs. Llanos has taught English 9, 10, and 11 at Heritage in addition to Spanish 1, Journalism, Newspaper and Advanced ELL. Before finding her niche in high school, she taught 6th and 8th grade Language Arts in Prince William County. Furthermore, Mrs. Llanos teaches English to adult learners and tutors students preparing for the PSAT, SAT, and AOS/AET exams.
     
    Interests 
    Mrs. Llanos loves traveling, reading, doing Sudoku puzzles, and volunteering in the community. She has spent extended amounts of time in countries on five continents (Australia, New Zealand, China, Spain, Ecuador, Peru) working, studying, and sightseeing.
     
    Mrs. Llanos enjoys new challenges and is currently training to run a 10K and learning how to drive a car with manual transmission.     Extra Help  
    Mrs. Llanos is always willing to meet with students outside of class, but all appointments must be scheduled in advance via e-mail. Additionally, students can visit the Reading & Writing Center (Rm. 311) during their study hall for additional support.
