Pinebrook is my home school. I am both a teacher, and a parent of a Puma, so I constantly strive to do everything I can for Pinebrook.
You will probably catch me at every Pinebrook PTA event. I have loads of fun hanging out with all of the Puma families.
Educational Background: In 1997, I graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in Psychology, and continued right into a masters program. I received an M.Ed. with triple licensure in General Education, Early Childhood Special Education, and English as a Second Language.
I have taught both special education and ESL/ESOL/ELL from babies through adults. I was a homebound teacher in Loudoun County, before returning to teaching at Pinebrook.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Jason and my children Evan (a former Pinebrook student who is in the Marching Band at Champe and is working towards his Eagle Rank in Boy Scouts.
Linnea (a former Pinebrook student who is on the Champe Equestrian Team and is working on her silver award in Girl Scouts), and
Emery (my 2nd grade Puma who enjoys Cub Scouts)
In addition, we all love spending time with our two black labs, Merlin and Emmie!
