• Educational Background:  In 1997, I graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in Psychology. I then received an M.Ed. with triple licensure in General Education, Special Education, and English as a Second Language.  In 2017, I went back to GMU for a 15-credit program, and earned a Certificate in Specialized Reading Instruction with an emphasis on Learning Disabilities/Dyslexia.  I have taught both special education and EL/ESL from babies through adults.

Pinebrook is my home school.  I live in and love the Pinebrook community.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Jason and our children:
Evan, a former Pinebrook Puma, (and occasional Pinebrook substitute teacher) who is attending George Mason.
Linnea, a former Pinebrook Puma, who attends John Champe HS and loves to ride and jump fences with her horses.
Emery, a former Pinebrook Puma, who enjoys inventing things and Boy Scout activities like hiking and camping.
In addition, we all love spending time with our three black labs, Merlin, Echo, and Emmie and fostering puppies.
I love working on puzzles, solving mysteries and binge watching shows on Netflix and Hulu.
