Pinebrook is my home school.  I am both a teacher, and a parent of a Puma, so I constantly strive to do everything I can for Pinebrook.
Educational Background:  In 1997, I graduated from George Mason University with a B.A. in Psychology. I then received an M.Ed. with triple licensure in General Education, Special Education, and English as a Second Language.  In 2017, I went back to GMU for a 15-credit program, and earned a Certificate in Specialized Reading Instruction with an emphasis on Learning Disabilities/Dyslexia.  I have taught both special education and EL from babies through adults.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband Jason and our children:
Evan, a former Pinebrook puma who is in his second year at George Mason.
Linnea, a former Pinebrook puma who is on the Champe Equestrian Team and will be in the LCPS MATA Verinary Science Program this year.
Emery (my 5th grade Puma who enjoys Cub Scouts)
In addition, we all love spending time with our three black labs, Merlin, Echo, and Emmie!
I love working on puzzles, solving mysteries and binge watching shows on Netflix and Hulu.
