My name is Mrs. Aho and this will be my tenth year teaching in Loudoun County.  I previously was at Sugarland Elementary in Sterling teaching 4th grade.  This is my fifth year teaching  at Buffalo Trail Elementary School and my fourth year teaching 5th grade.  I am excited to continue to be a part of the Buffalo Trail community!

I graduated from the Professional Development School at

    George Mason University.

I have completed my Master's in Elementary Education at

    George Mason University.

I was an intern in a highly diverse Title 1 elementary school in Fairfax County.  I worked in the second and third grades, as well as taught intersession to a K-1 class.
I am familiar with co-teaching models,  PLC, collaboration, full inclusion, ELL, SMARTBoards, Promethean, United Streaming, Inspiration, and other technology applications.

I worked as an LD assistant, preschool teacher, and intersession teacher.

I am looking forward to an exciting new year!
