I have been with Loudoun County Public Schools for over 15 years. I am happy to be a Maverick. I have two grown children.My oldest son, Robert, is a musician and is teaching music in Richmond. Occasionally, I convince him to come in to play for our students or I play his latest video to my students. My other son, Garret, has a career in heating and air conditioning and lives in Winchester.
I have a Masters in Education from George Mason University as well as an additional certificate in Specialized Reading from George Mason. I am a life-long learner and will be attending George Mason for an additional endorsement for English Language Learners.
The beach is my happy place! I was able to spend time relaxing on the beach in Nags Head, NC. During the school year, I spend time with family and friends. I love to entertain and always enjoy a houseful of people. My hobbies include making jewelry, reading, cooking, baking, and entertaining.
