     Mrs. Cassada
    Hello!  I attained a Bachelor's Degree of Fine Arts from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Music degree from Duquesne University.  I completed my Virginia Teacher Certification through Shenandoah University and Level 1 Orff Certification at George Mason University.  As a professional bassoonist/contrabassoonist, I have performed with the National Symphony, Richmond Symphony, Maryland Symphony, Roanoke Symphony, Loudoun Symphony and many others.  I am a member of Music of the Valley Orff Chapter, the National Educators Association, the Music Educators National Conference and the Metro DC Federation of Musicians. 
     
    I am looking forward to an exciting year in the music classroom at Sycolin Creek!
