Anne Harris

Welcome back Stars! I hope you all had a fun summer! I proud to serve as assistant principal at Frederick Douglass Elementary School. This role allows me opportunities to collaborate with classroom teachers to best meet the needs of of our stars. I am looking forward to sharing some research-based instructional programs as well as other strategies to help our students be successful. I plan on spending as much time as possible working directly with students and teachers.

This is my 18th year in Loudoun County Public Schools. I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master's Degree in Special Education.  I am a proud charter member of Frederick Douglass Elementary. Prior to this, I taught special education at Sully Elementary in Sterling.  Mrs. Harris has taught kindergarten through 5th grade students in both the resource setting as well as in the general education classroom. Mrs. Harris lives in Leesburg with her husband and two children, Kallie and Declan.

Please feel free to contact me at any time for questions or concerns. I look forward to many great years!
