Cheers to the 2022-2023 school year! I would like to extend a warm welcome to the students and families of Frederick Douglas Elementary School!
I am eager to get started on another fun-tastic school year, on the Resource Team teaching special education.
I have been with Loudoun County Schools for fifteen years; eleven in special education (as an assistant and teacher) and four years as a PALS reading tutor. My passion is teaching students the joy of reading. My professional background includes counseling children and their families. I have a master’s degree in psychology and a special education licensure certificate from George Mason University.
I have resided in Leesburg for 25 years with my wonderful family, husband Ed, and three young adult children. During my leisure time, I enjoy reading, power-walks, and spending peaceful time with family and friends.
