Mr. Dawson

Jason Dawson earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in K-5 Elementary Education and a minor in grades 5-9 History from West Virginia Wesleyan College and his Master's in Educational Leadership from West Virgin University.  He also completed all of his Doctoral Coursework in Curriculum and Instruction from West Virginia University.  Coach Dawson is entering his 20th year in education.  He is currently a Health and PE teacher at John Champe High School.  Prior to working at Champe, Coach Dawson was an Elementary Education teacher for 11 years at schools in Winchester, Leesburg, and Ashburn, VA.  Jason was also an Administrative Intern for a year at Hutchinson Farm Elementary in South Riding, VA and a summer school principal for 2 summers.  Lastly, Coach Dawson is your Head Football Coach at Champe.  He has been there since 2012 as the Head Coach.  The previous six seasons, from 2006-2011, he served as an assistant coach at Broad Run High School in Ashburn, VA.
