Important Information about each grade level:

    5th grade-

Parents/guardians who want their fifth grade student evaluated for gifted services may contact me for guidance on this topic. Parents will need to complete a “5th Grade Permission to Evaluate” form and submit it to me  by November 5, 2021.
    • 4th grade-
    • During the second quarter, all fourth grade students will complete portfolio tasks during SEARCH classes as part of the gifted evaluation process. High performing students on the performance measures will be included in a screening pool for further evaluation. There is no need to refer a student, as all fourth grade students will go through the initial process.

    3rd grade-

Third grade students will go through a similar screening process as the fourth grade.  The timeline for this process is described in the video link above.  It will occur in the Spring, just as it has in the past.
