Giovanni Cianciaruso and Patrick Swisher finished in the top sixteen debate teams in the country this past weekend at the Georgetown Day School debate tournament. Advancing to the quarterfinals is an outstanding achievement, all the more remarkable because it is the third time in three years that this team has made it past the preliminary rounds in a national tournament.
