    Who Are We?
    We love to READ BOOKS!

Battle of the Books is an interschool competition in which competitors read from a selected set of ten books and answer questions about those books’ contents.

The Woodgrove Battle of the Books teams is dedicated to reading books, writing questions, and having fun.  We are the reigning Battle of the Books champions, having won last year’s competition at Briar Woods High School.  We scored 545 points out of 600, besting Briar Woods (510 points), Loudoun Valley (505 points), Rock Ridge (495 points), Stone Bridge (380), and Dominion (370).

    Our Goal

Our goal is to, once again, win the Battle of the Books competition by answering the most questions about our books and getting points for our team.  To do this, we must study and know the entirety of our books before the semi-final competition.  The 2017-2018 book list is available on the sidebar.

You will meet a great FAMILY of READERS!
See Dr. J.  for details :)
