Degrees and Certifications:
2019-2020 was a year full of love, fun, and challenge! My amazing 2nd grade class worked hard, grew a lot, and supported one another as a positive and caring community. I will miss them very much and wish our year had ended in person, but I am proud of their growth and with them all the best next year in 3rd grade.
2020-2021 will be my 10th year at Potowmack and I look forward to welcoming a new class of 2nd graders and working together to become a happy, inclusive, and productive learning community. We will have fun reading, writing, becoming mathematicians, and exploring our world through science and social studies topics.
I will also continue to serve our school community as our Internal PBIS Coach and as a member of our Multi-Tiered Systems of Support team. My philosophy is that all students can learn. Teamwork between parents and teachers helps to facilitate student learning and empowers them to be active and engaged learners on their own too. I look forward to being part of that team with my students and their parents each year and I strive to give each family an excellent school experience at Potowmack. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me by e-mail, ClassDojo, or phone if you have any questions throughout the year.
