    Meet Ms. Ruiz  
    Welcome Pythons!  I am super excited for this school year and seeing everyone again. This will be my 13th year as an English Learner (EL) teacher at Evergreen Mill and 18th year with LCPS.
     
    I have an undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Maryland and a Master's in education from George Mason University. My absolute passion is working with children and seeing them grow and learn as they gain confidence, academic knowledge, and the skills to succeed in life.  
     
    I am looking forward to working with students, families, a fabulous EL team, and amazing co-teachers this 2023-2024 school year. Most importantly, I am committed to bringing my best every day!

    Bienvenidos Pythons! Estoy súper emocionada por este año escolar y volver a ver a todos. Este será mi decimotercero año como profesora de aprendizes de inglés (EL) en Evergreen Mill y decimoctavo año con LCPS.
     
    Tengo una licenciatura en Artes Liberales de la Universidad de Maryland y una maestría en educación de la Universidad de George Mason.  Mi pasión absoluta es trabajar con niños y verlos crecer y aprender a medida que ganan confianza, conocimiento académico y las habilidades para tener éxito en la vida.
     
    Tengo muchas ganas de trabajar con estudiantes, familias, un fabuloso equipo de EL, y co-maestras increíbles este año escolar 2023-2024.  Lo más importante, es que estoy comprometida a dar lo mejor de mí cada día!
