Mrs. Angela Barbero
Greetings!
My name is Mrs. Angela Barbero. I am very excited to be part of the 5th grade team! For the 2023-2024 school year, I will be entering my 18th year as a professional educator of emerging bilinguals.
Learning is a life- long journey and I am a life-long learner. I attended Mary Washington, Marymount University, and George Washington University. As Mr. Rogers said, "It's good to be curious about many things."
When I am away from school, I enjoy reading, trying new kinds of cuisine, going to the beach, and spending time with my family.
I am very fortunate to be a part of our community and I am truly looking forward to working with our fantabulous (fantastic/fabulous) 5th grade students.
As author Amy Chua said, “Never complain or make excuses. If something seems unfair, just prove yourself by working twice as hard and being twice as good.” I also believe that relationships are the absolute key to success.
