Meet your 3rd Grade Classroom Teachers!
Hi third grade students and parents! My name is Miss Frost and I am very excited for my sixth year teaching third grade at Sully! Teaching has actually been my dream job since I was a third grader myself. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia but headed north to attend James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies with minors in elementary education and general music and loved it so much that I got to stay a little bit longer to earn my Master of Arts in Teaching degree. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, cheering on my favorite sports teams- the JMU Dukes, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, Washington Capitals- attending concerts, reading, and traveling. I look forward to a great year and can’t wait to meet each of you!

Hello third grade students and parents! My name is Mrs. Waits and I love teaching at Sully Elementary! I have been a teacher for 18 years. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Music Education in 2001 and my Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Southern California in 2014. I am originally from Iowa, but have lived and taught in many states and countries. Outside of school, I love to sing, travel, cook and build Legos with my daughter who also attends Sully.
Hello third grade students and parents! I am so excited to be a Sully Hornet this year. This is my eleventh year in the classroom and my fourth here in Virginia. I have also taught in New York and New Jersey. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Masters of Education in Special Education from Liberty University. When I am not in the classroom, I love to travel, sew, watch sports and go on adventures. I also cherish anytime I get to spend with my nieces and nephews. I am excited to see what adventures this year brings at Sully Elementary!
