Mrs. Kristi Bedrowsky

Hello! My name is Kristi Bedrowsky. I have a Masters in Education from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from York College of Pennsylvania. I have been teaching with LCPS for the past 16 years. Before joining the Kindergarten team at Sully in 2017, I taught 5th grade at Little River for 12 years. Early in my career, I spent three years teaching and mentoring students with special educational disabilities. My unique background gives me an advantage to reach all students. I am passionate about teaching and guiding each child to achieve their maximum ability. As a lifelong learner, I always strive to improve my teaching, which can be seen on a daily basis in my classroom. Each child brings unique abilities, and it is up to me to focus those abilities on learning academically and emotionally. Academic learning along with social-emotional learning will help to prepare our future leaders to deal with an ever-changing world. On a personal note, my husband and I are raising two amazing boys, ages 13 and 16. We love to spend time outdoors and can be found most weekends at the baseball diamond or in a sweaty gym watching our son wrestle.

Mrs. Bobbie Colbert

Hello, my name is Bobbie Colbert, and this is my sixteenth year at Sully Elementary. While in school for my nursing degree, which I received in 2006, I substituted at Sully for a while and fell in love with teaching, so I went back to school to then receive my Child Development degree. I’ve had several roles at Sully, and my love for my students has only continued to grow! Throughout my time, I’ve gotten the chance to watch all my children attend Sully and be a part of many of my very own student’s graduations. When I’m not at Sully, I enjoy spending time with my husband going on walks, finishing my puzzles, and playing board games with my children! I can’t wait to have an amazing year together!

Mrs. Nina Neal

Hello! My name is Nina Neal, and I am from Maryland. I went to the University of Maryland, College Park (Go Terps!) where I got my B.S. in Family Studies. I have lived in Virginia for over 10 years. I have two kids that go to school in Loudoun County, and I have really loved working and having kids in this county.

I have always worked with children. I was a preschool teacher for seven years. After teaching for a few years, I was promoted to Director of Finance for the school I was working at, but I missed teaching after three years. I decided to make a small career change to the public school system. I received my teaching license from Shenandoah University in EL. This is my sixth year at Sully, and it has been like a second home. The students and families have been great to work with. I look forward to many years teaching your students and helping them become the best they can be!

I believe that young children learn through hands-on activities, especially when they are learning a new language. I strive to provide that for all my English Language students. If you have any questions or would like to reach out to me, my email is nina.neal@lcps.org. You can also find me in rooms 404 & 405. I am looking forward to having a wonderful year of learning and growing in Kindergarten!
