ABOUT ME
This is my 8th year as a freshman English teacher here at Dominion High School. After switching from my career in corporate and human resource communication, I received my teaching certification from The George Washington University. Prior to that, I received my BA degree in English from the University of Maryland (GO TERPS!) and my MA degree in Communications from the University of Baltimore. I previously taught at the Douglass School ("Saving Nine"), Stone Hill Middle School, Northern Virginia Hebrew Congregation, and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington D.C. I have two sons, a former Titan and a freshman at Elon University and a sophmore here at DHS.Affiliations: National Writing Project, The Olga Lengyl Institute for Holocaust Studies and Human Rights, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, GW Teachers in Industry, High School Literary Compass, LCPS County Book Club, Battle of the Books judge
