Ms. Berg

Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Berg

This is Ms. Berg's 8th year teaching in Loudoun County, and her 4th year at Rock Ridge High School! Ms. Berg attended the Univeristy of Virginia where she earned her BA in English. After working in the publishing industry for a while, Ms. Berg returned to school at George Mason University where she earned her Masters in Education. Ms. Berg loves teaching English, and working with the students.

She is the founder of the Ms. Phoenix Organization, and is over the moon because this year she is piloting a Women's Studies Course at Rock Ridge! Ms. Phoenix meets every Thursday morning at 8:30, and if you have any questions about Women's Studies, or in general, just stop by!

When she is not at school, or grading papers at home, Ms. Berg likes to spend time with her husband, her crazy dog, Finley, and her daughters, Harper and Bailey, who keep life interesting, crazy, and exhausting.

She is a crazy reader, usually always reading at least 3 books at once, so ask her what she is reading! And if you are a reade, too, stay tuned for Berg's Quarterly Book Club Breakfasts: 1st Quarter's Book Selection is: Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates.
