Ms. Berg

    This is Ms. Berg's 13th year teaching in Loudoun County, and her 8th year at Rock Ridge High School! Ms. Berg attended the University of Virginia where she earned her BA in English. After working in the publishing industry for a while, Ms. Berg returned to school at George Mason University where she earned her Masters in Education. Ms. Berg absolutely loves teaching, and she is so excited for the upcoming year!

    She is the founder of Ms. Phoenix Organization, self-titled Creator and Executive Director of the "Rise To Summit", is over the moon because this year she gets to teach Women and Gender studies for the 5th year, a course she created and wrote, and it is also available at 8 other high schools in the County!

    When she is not at school, or grading papers at home, Ms. Berg likes to spend time with her husband, her crazy dog, Finley, and her daughters, Harper and Bailey, who keep life interesting, crazy, and exhausting.

    She is a voracious reader, usually always reading at least 3 books at once. It is likely that she will go off on tangents about recently read books, recently viewed documentaries, and recently listened to podcasts because she is a huge nerd and lover of learning.
