This is Beth Durgin's second year teaching at Seneca Ridge Middle School and her fifth year working for Loudoun County Public Schools with Children on the Autism Spectrum. Prior to working for Loudoun County, Mrs. Durgin worked as a Language Arts and Math teacher for a private middle school in the county.  Prior to teaching, Mrs. Durgin worked with a number of non-profit agencies doing training and development work for their employees as well as advocating for persons with different abilities to have equal access to work and education.  Mrs. Durgin earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Communication from Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY and her Masters degree in Organizational Communication from California State University at Northridge, California.  Mrs. Durgin has also completed her Masters in Special Education at George Mason University and has enjoyed her journey working for and with individuals with different abilities.  Mrs. Durgin has lived with her husband, three children and two basset hounds in Potomac Falls for the past 15 years.
