    Mornings in Maine Welcome to US History Pt 2!
     
      
     
     
    I am so excited to be starting my 6th year here at Lunsford Middle. I am in my 9th year teaching: three years in 8th grade English and Civics at Seneca Ridge, and six years here with 7th grade Social Studies.
     
    I went to school at the University of Virginia and graduated with my masters in secondary social studies, and my bachelors in history. I grew up in Roanoke, VA, and currently live in Herdon with my husband. We were married two summers ago (2018) - previously, my name was Ms. George.
     
    In my free time, I love to knit, swing dance, bake, and read. My favorite color is purple, and my Hogwarts house is either Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw.
