Welcome to math class! I am so excited to have you in my class. This year you will be building on your knowledge of what you learned in elementary school and getting ready for algebra concepts!!
I am a 1989 graduate from Radford University with a masters degree in Early and Middle Education. In 1996 I achieved a masters in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University. In 2004 I earned a certificate and became a Virginia Mathematics Specialist from the University of Virginia. My careeer includes teaching in grades 3 through eighth grade.
Rules of the mathematics class:
1. Always do your BEST! No matter what, be sure you put forth all your effort to be the best you can be.
2. Try! Trust in your own mathematical knowledge and try. Your hard work WILL pay off!
3. Be honest! Be honest with yourself, your parents, your teachers and your friends.
