Hello, my name is Anna Kate Collier and this is my tenth year teaching fourth grade at Seldens. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Virginia Wesleyan College in 2011, where I played lacrosse for all four years. After teaching at Seldens for three years, I decided to further my education and began working on my Master's Degree. In May 2017, I graduated from George Mason University where I earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Concentration in Literacy for Diverse Readers. I am very passionate about teaching all subjects and I enjoy incorporating technology as much as I can. My classroom environment is hands-on and interactive where students are encouraged to work together daily. In addition to teaching, I enjoy playing lacrosse, going bowling, listening to music, and watching the Washington Nationals and Capitals!. I look forward to a wonderful year with your child!
