Mrs. Kachel has lived in Virginia her entire life.  She went to Ashburn Elementary School, Farmwell Station Middle School, and Broad Run High School (Go Spartans!).  She is happy to be back home teaching in her old elementary school!  

Mrs. Kachel also attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies and a Masters in the Art of Teaching.  She is a big JMU football fan!

·         LOVES the Washington Redskins and the JMU Dukes!!

·         Is a fan of the Washington Capitals and Washington Nationals

·         Hobbies/Interests:  football, basketball, traveling, running, reading, shopping, and snowboarding

·         Fears:  spiders, sharks, snakes, and stingrays

·         Guilty pleasures: Reese’s peanut butter cups, Starbucks, pumpkin bread, and shopping at Target

·         Favorite Colors: blue, green, and purple
