About Mrs. Beasley
Mrs. Beasley loves working with young children! She has been a teacher in Loudoun County Public Schools for 24 years, some of them as a Kindergarten teacher and now in First Grade. The best part of the day is when the children walk through my door, they are the reason I wanted to become a teacher and still inspire and motivate me everyday!
Mrs. Beasley earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and minor in Elementary Education from Shenandoah University. She holds a Masters in Reading from Shenandoah University as well.Mrs. Beasley is married and has 3 wonderful children. She worked as a children’s librarian at the Purcellville library for two years prior to obtaining her position at Lincoln Elementary. Mrs. Beasley loves to read and worked in the Loudoun County Public Library system while taking classes at Shenandoah University.
Mrs. Beasley is a Loudoun County native and attended Banneker Elementary, Blue Ridge Middle School, and Loudoun Valley High School. She remembers Purcellville when the big excitement was football games on Friday nights and when McDonalds came to town. She currently lives in Clarke County just over the Loudoun County line. The mountains and the beach are her favorite places to be and summer and fall are her favorite seasons.
