Founded in August 2009
KWC was dedicated on Sunday, November 15th, 2009. Founded in August 2009, on the former Oakhurst Farm in Hamilton, Virginia, KWC opened with just over 500 students. Our capacity is 750 students.
Kenneth W. Culbert, for whom this school is named, was a Loudoun County native and longtime Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) educator. Mr. Culbert was known for his unflagging optimism. He often said, “What I do today is very important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it." With that strong committment to making the best of every day, KWC staff are equally strongly committed to making each day the best it can be for our students.
