This is my twelfth year with LCPS. After ten years of Directing the Theatre Department, I have dedicated myself to teaching English and Personal Finance. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, a Master of Fine Arts in Acting, and a J.D. in Law. I worked six years as a Title Agent, conducting settlements for home purchases and refinances. I have three Titan sons who graduated from Dominion in 2012, 2014, and 2017, two of whom serve in the Army and one is a C.P.A. While I have directed over 30 productions at DHS, my sons are my proudest productions.

During my tenure in the Theatre Department, Dominion garnered 12 Cappies nominations and 3 Cappies wins. The winners were Best Actor, (Ty Sheedlo) in Harvey, Best Male Vocalist (Sam Allen) for Pippin, and Best Supporting Actress (Saskia Hunter) in The Miracle Worker.

I previously performed for the Capitol Steps for 13 years, and am now a Cappies Mentor as a member of the Cappies Steering Committee, and am mentoring Cappies Critics with their show analysis and review-writing skills.

As a Spanish speaking teacher, I am able to reach out to those for whom English is a second language and I hope to make a difference for my Latino learners. I have also coached Executive Function Skills and done Educational Coaching as a Tutor.

It's going to be a great year!
