    Overdue, Damaged, Lost Materials
John Champe High School Library does not charge fines for overdue materials.
If students have overdue books, they are still allowed to check out additional items.
The library sends regular overdue emails to the email addresses on file in Phoenix.  Quarterly, students receive a paper notification in their English class.  They are reminded to return or to renew the items.
When a book is lost or damaged beyond repair, payment is to be made in the library, with checks written to John Champe High School.  A receipt will be provided.
When payment is received for a lost or damaged book, a replacement copy or similar item will be purchased as soon as possible.  After payment is received, we will not reimburse the patron if the book is subsequently found and the replacement copy has been ordered.
At the end of the school year a deficiency for overdue books will be issued and the return of or payment for the missing materials is expected before the last day of school.
All students can login to our library catalog with their LCPS credentials to check their library account.
