The Junior Optimist International, or JOI (joy) Club is a community service club sponsored by the Optimist Club of Leesburg. Membership is open to any and all students at Dominion High School. The objectives of this Club are to provide opportunities for members, individually and collectively, to participate in community service activities with both the Leesburg Optimists and other civic organizations located in Sterling and Leesburg that need our help and develop leadership abilities and prepare for responsible roles in society.
The Club meets the first Thursday of the month from 8:45 AM - 9:10 AM in room 605.

Social Media - Courtney GreenUPCOMING EVENTS- September 25: Parents Educating Parents (PEP) begins. Weekly event runs from 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM. About 6 student volunteers needed to provide chidcare while EL parents attend classes. Volunteers will be fed. Sign up sheet is outside the Counseling Office. The program ends on December 18th.- November 27: JOI Club will help serve Thanksgiving Dinner at the Salvation Army in Sterling.- First two weeks in December: Toys for Tots Campaign.OTHER VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES ARE POSTED OUTSIDE THE COUNSELING OFFICE
